Residential  | Warren, Connecticut  |  Completed with Deborah Berke Partners

Nestled in the corner of a large pastoral property in northwestern Connecticut, two low, blackened-wood volumes form this L-shaped home. With sweeping views to the south and east across the restored meadow, and forest views to the west and north, each room has a unique relationship with the site, offering different experiences as you move through the house. The cool and clean interiors help the home feel light, airy, and neutral to the ever-changing colors outside. Interestingly, the dark siding and window frames of the home help it dissolve into the shadows of the forest.

The project was completed while working for Deborah Berke Partners.
